This past Sunday, the Israeli Defense Forces set up a field hospital for victims of the fighting in Gaza. The field hospital is located at the Erez border crossing, approximately 2.5 kilometers from the city of Beit Hanoun in Gaza.  The Erez border crossing is located on the northern border of Gaza, where much of the fighting between Hamas and Israel has been centered.

The field hospital has both an emergency clinic and a delivery wing. Though the field hospital has received open fire from Hamas, the I.D.F. is committed to keeping the clinic open for residents of Gaza.
