Teva, an Israeli drug company, has figured out how to produce an experimental vaccine called ZMapp that can potentially eradicate Ebola. Teva has enlisted the help of Protalox, another Israeli company, to mass produce the drug which was developed by American and Canadian companies.

Ebola has claimed nearly 4,000 lives in West Africa and one in the United States. Fear of the disease caused the United States to closely monitor all flights coming from west Africa. It has sparked panic in Western media and continues to threaten the lives of all medical personal who have been in contact with Ebola victims and survivors.

Figuring out how to mass produce ZMapp is just one example of the incredible contributions Israel has made to the world of science.
